We are delighted to introduce Dr Glenn Fredericksen who is joining Chiropractic Life from 12th April 2010.
After completing his Chiropractic degree at the prestigious New Zealand College of Chiropractic where their motto is graduating hands, hearts and minds, Dr Fredericksen has ventured across the globe bringing with him a truly natural approach to health and wellbeing. The New Zealand college is a world class faculty and has been built on the values which are an important part of the philosophy at Chiropractic Life and Dr Fredericksen is well placed to continue this tradition. The college stands on the principles of integrity, excellence, vision, gratitude and love with the understanding, that at this time in history the need and calling to serve our community has never been greater, because of the current challenges faced by the traditional health care system.
Glenn’s interest in Chiropractic has been maintained since high school when he had his first Chiropractic adjustment with Dr John Funnell, a long time friend of Dr Richard McMinn. Interestingly the association goes even further, with a member of Dr McMinn’s family in his graduating class! Since his early interest in a system of natural healing, there has been no doubt that Chiropractic was going to be the vessel which Glenn would use to provide natural wellness care to as many people who would be willing to embrace the philosophy.
Previously employed at Chiropractic 1st in York, Glenn has enjoyed working with, and helping people of all ages and all walks of life, including children, helping them to be healthy through embracing a chiropractic lifestyle so that they can develop without unnecessary nerve interference and go on to lead amazingly healthy, vital lives. During his continuing professional development Glenn has attended seminars for providing focused care during pregnancy and for newborns (neonates) and children, including children with behavioural problems.
Chiropractic is one of the largest health care professions in the Western World. The philosophy behind chiropractic is simple and unique. If the spine is functioning properly, the nerve system will function more effectively. This allows the body to work optimally and heal itself – naturally. Essentially, Chiropractic is about helping the body to help itself.
Glenn says “I love being a Chiropractor and helping people to reach their fullest potential through regular Chiropractic Care - potential on every level – mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. This natural approach to healthcare is the wave of the future and it is extremely satisfying to be part of it and I am looking forward to meeting and helping the residents of Hove and Brighton and the wider Sussex area, while discovering and enjoying the many activities available in the region.”
If you would like to consult Glenn, phone 01273 208188 to make an appointment – you will be glad you did. If you would have health, look first to the spine ~ Socrates
